A: Pinvero is a live-action map app that helps you find what’s happening right now in your city. It uses a system of "Live Pins" for current events and "Ghost Pins" to highlight what’s coming soon.

Q: Who can use Pinvero?

A: Anyone ages 18+ can use Pinvero and Minors must have parental guidance.

Q: Why do I have to enter my credit card information to create a pin?

A: All creators of a public pin must enter their information for additional age verification. You will not be charged if using a free tier!

Q: What exactly is a Ghost Pin?

A: A Ghost Pin is a "placeholder" on the map for an upcoming event, business opening, or sale. It allows you to see the "ghost" of a future event before it actually goes live, helping you plan your week.

Q: Can I Pin a past event? ("Shadow Pinning")

A: We love the memories, but Pinvero is a live-action map! Creating a "Shadow Pin" for a past event is against our terms because it confuses the community. To keep the map clean and exciting, please only PIN what’s happening right now or what’s coming up next.

Q: How long do Ghost Pins stay on the map?

A: It depends on the tier of the post. Basic pins appear 12 hours before an event, while Single Use and Premium pins can stay up for 1 week. Elite pins can be placed up to 2 weeks in advance to build maximum hype.

XP, Levels & Status

Q: How do I earn XP (Experience Points)?

A: You earn XP by being active! Opening the app, checking in at a pin, and smaller actions like Liking, RSVPing, or Interacting.

Q: Is there a bonus for being early to an event?

A: Yes! If you are among the first 10 users to check in at a Live Pin, you receive an Early Bird bonus.

Q: What are the different Profile Titles?

A: As you level up, your status changes:

Levels 1–10: Tourist
Levels 11–25: Local
Levels 26–50: Vibe Chaser
Levels 51–75: Trendsetter
Levels 76–99: Vibe Legend
Level 100+: The Source

Q: What do I unlock as I level up?

A: Higher levels unlock exclusive digital rewards, such as unique Profile Pictures and selectable Map Themes to customize your experience.

Streaks & Multipliers

Q: How do I get a "Border" on my profile?

A: Borders are earned through daily consistency (Streaks).

Bronze: 3 Days (+5% XP)
Silver: 7 Days (+10% XP)
Gold: 14 Days (+20% XP)
Platinum: 30 Days (+50% XP)

Q: What happens if I miss a day?

A: Does my streak reset to zero? No! Pinvero uses a "Count Backwards" system. If you miss a day, your streak just moves back by one day. You only lose the streak entirely if you remain inactive for several days.

Q: What is the "Platinum Buffer"?

A: Once you hit a 30-day Platinum streak, you unlock a 7-day buffer. This means you can stay at the +50% XP multiplier for up to a week without being active before the streak starts counting backward.

Boosting & Quests

Q: What is a "Boosted" Pin?

A: Creators can “Boost” a pin for 3-Hours. This makes the pin more visible on the map. As a user, checking in at a Boosted Pin grants Double XP (which is then further increased by your streak bonuses!).

Q: How do Quests work?

A: Quests are challenges that reward you for exploring. Daily Quests (like tapping 5 pins) reset every 24 hours. Weekly and Monthly quests require more effort but offer much larger XP rewards and Passport Stamps.

Rewards & Drawings

Q: What are Digital Passport Stamps?

A: You earn a stamp every time you "Check-In" at a live pin or complete a Monthly Quest. These stamps are your tickets into our yearly drawings.

Q: What can I win with my Passport Stamps?

A: Stamps are used for yearly drawings for physical rewards. This can include Pinvero merchandise, gear, or even cash prizes. The more you explore, the higher your chances of winning.
